What to Bring to Auditions:
Please come prepared to list all conflicts from the audition dates through the end of the run of the show.
Tech rehearsals will begin May 24th through May 28th. We will make a decision on Memorial Day rehearsal as a cast and crew. Performances will take place May 29th, 30th, 31st. Strike will be May 31st immediately following the show. Attendance is required for these dates.
Audition Info:
Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Actual sides will be posted no later than March 1st.
Rehearsal Info:
To accommodate the busy schedules of our cast and crew, the rehearsal schedule for this show will be finalized after casting to take into account all conflicts.
Rehearsals will begin once casting is completed and will occur 3 days a week for the majority of the process. We will attempt to work around your schedule as much as possible and all actors will not be required at every rehearsal.

Play Info:
Written as part of the STAGEtwo Productions Summer Playwrights Workshop, Analog(ue), is set in the office of a declining newspaper in a midsized Southern town.
During an overnight stay at work, the scrappy crew of the once-great daily newspaper, come to grips with the reality of their career choices and strengthening their bonds in what will be a pivotal night in several lives.
But their lives are merely a shadow...
Character Info:
THE NEWSROOM
HOMER Mid-20s, male. Wry, damaged and frustrated but thoroughly decent.
MAVIS Mid-20s, female. Star reporter, fashionista, a force to be reckoned with.
IKE Mid-20s, male. Homer’s best friend. Erudite, flippant, supportive.
GERALD 50s, male. A grouch with a soft heart, easily placated.
HEIDI Early 20s, female. Rookie photographer, fresh out of art school.
BETH 40s, female. Quiet, until she’s not.
RICHARD 50s, male. A dolt, corporate interloper.
BRUCE 40s, toxic/punchable self-appointed ‘alpha male’
HOMER’S MOM Late 50s, female. On the phone.
THE FUTURE
OLD HOMER Mid to late 40s, male. The writer/editor of a holographic novel loosely based on his life.
COMPUTER (AKA ISAAC) Computer interface which Old Homer is using to write the story.
OLD MAVIS Mid 40s, female. Old Homer’s wife. A voice down the hall.
