Atlanta Eco-Singles: Meet people while restoring the forest

This MURMURR experience is designed to connect earth loving singles in the Atlanta area alongside ecological service, movement & authentic relating.

Best described as a friendship-first gathering for anyone craving warm, purpose-driven community — whether you’re looking for new friendships, romantic connection, or simply a tribe of people who show up fully and authentically. No alcohol, no small talk pressure, no forced icebreakers — just people, land, service, curiosity and shared presence.

What we’ll do together:

🌿 Tend the land — We’ll spend the first hour pulling invasive non-native plants in Ansley Park alongside a guided walk with forager & nature-based therapist Josh Wayne, learning as we work and walk the ecosystem we’re supporting.

🧘 Move together — An all levels yoga class guided by Stephy Joy, including some optional partner-based practices, building trust, play and presence between bodies.

💬 Relate deeper — Relating games and communication practices introducing the basics of nonviolent communication — simple tools for listening and speaking that strengthen any relationship, romantic, platonic, or otherwise.

🍽️ Stay if you’d like — We’ll close with an optional walk to Colony Square for lunch and continued conversation, for anyone who wants the day to keep going.

This is for the mindful, the earth-lovers, and anyone tired of surface-level connection — those seeking diverse and authentic community, not just another event. All ages and all stages of life welcome. Come to tend the land — stay for the people you meet doing it.

Please wear clothes you can move and get dirty in. Light weight long sleeves and pants or bug spray is recommended. Bring water, a yoga mat (or towel), gardening gloves if you have them, and an open heart.
