This is a weekly 1 hour short form Ashtanga Vinyasa class in Greenbank, Bristol.My teaching is rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series, which is an energetic set sequence of synchronised movement and breath designed to cleanse the body and focus the mind. I love adapting classes to make them accessible for beginners and exploring asana modifications for individuals as I believe Ashtanga yoga can be for everyone.
Short form Ashtanga Vinyasa classes will include guided breathing exercises followed by sun salutations and sections of the primary series. This concludes with asana designed to slow the breath and recentre.
