About this Event
Join us for a free 1-hr tour to discover the fascinating history behind the 19th century Ashburton Hall building which has housed a religious sanctuary, children's home, nunnery, library and now cafe/events' space.
Learn about the former Stroud Green Manor house whose grounds became Ashburton Park 100 years ago and our community archaeology project for May 2026. There will be updates and designs from the park restoration team to discuss the improvements and exciting events taking place for the park's centenary.
This event is taking place as part of the National Lottery's Open Week as this project is possible thanks to Lottery players. Any visitors with a valid National Lottery ticket (paper or digital) will receive a thank you gift of wildflower seeds to take home a piece of the park as part of the #Thanksto You Open week gift.
There will also be a free Sing & Stroll session taking place around the park 30 minutes after this building tour. Please see link to sign up
