About this Event
Art Therapy Workshop: From Image to Voice
Join us for a creative, reflective workshop where visual art becomes a pathway into writing and self-expression. Through a guided process of image-making and poetry, you’ll explore how your inner world can take shape and find its voice through words.
The workshop will take place:
Saturday, May 16 from 2:30–4:00 PM
In this hands-on experience, participants will begin by creating a piece of art, either spontaneously or inspired by a theme. From there, you’ll be gently guided through a reflective writing process that transforms your visual expression into language, allowing new insights, perspectives, and personal meaning to emerge.
This process supports a deeper connection between image and voice, offering a unique way to access creativity, emotional awareness, and self-expression.
Throughout the workshop, participants will be supported with art therapy–inspired prompts, guided reflection, and optional sharing. The emphasis is on curiosity, presence, and process rather than artistic skill or outcome.
By the end of the workshop, you will leave with your original artwork and a piece of writing that reflects your creative voice and inner experience.
No previous experience is required. This workshop is not about perfection. It is about exploration, expression, and discovering what emerges when image meets language.
All supplies will be provided.
