This class introduces the fundamentals of cardmaking, perfect for beginners and those looking to enhance their skills. You’ll learn how to create beautiful handmade cards from scratch, starting with the basics—choosing materials, understanding card structure, and mastering techniques. The focus of this class will be layering, a popular method that involves stacking different papers, textures, and embellishments to add depth and dimension to your cards. Layering helps transform simple designs into eye-catching creations by combining colors, patterns, and elements for a polished finish.Participants will learn basic cardmaking skills such as selecting the right cardstock and tools understanding card sizes and folds creating clean edges and strong foundations, and layering techniques.
