Art For Living Forests Project
Join us this August for an inspiring afternoon of live music, visual arts, and environmental conversation at the Art for Living Forests Project. Held at the Wheatsheaf Hotel from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, this special event brings together artists, environmental advocates, and community members to celebrate the vital relationship between people and forests.
The afternoon will feature live performances by Anya Anastasia, Adela May, and Naomi Keyte, alongside a panel discussion hosted by Tessa Leon featuring Tiahni Adamson and Alex Mac. Together, they will explore the power of storytelling, community action, and environmental stewardship in protecting and restoring living forests. Guests will also have the opportunity to experience works created through the Art for Takayna Residency, showcasing artistic responses to one of Australia's most significant and ecologically rich landscapes.
The exhibition highlights the connection between art, place, and conservation, inviting reflection on the importance of protecting our remaining wild forests. Whether you're passionate about conservation, the arts, or community-led change, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired.
