Save the Date Area 17 are excited to share some updates about the 2026 Area 17 Championships, and we truly appreciate everyone’s continued enthusiasm and support for this event. As part of our preparations this year, we will again be including the National Summer qualifiers, with all Show Jumping scheduled for Saturday, July 18th, and all Dressage taking place on Sunday, July 19th.
All classes will be held on the all-weather surfaces at Moreton EC
We’re making these changes to streamline the weekend, reduce running costs, and make sure we can continue hosting this event in a sustainable way.
By adjusting the timetable, we aim to give everyone more time to enjoy the competition and each other’s company. The new format will also allow us to use both menages for Dressage on Sunday (a total of four arenas if necessary), making scheduling more efficient for everyone.
Stabling and camping will again be available for anyone wishing to compete on both days or simply wanting to stay and support friends. Don't forget we have lovely hacking and the Ford to cool off in after the days competition. We are also hoping to organize a quiz night on Saturday evening to give everyone a chance to relax and connect—further details, including the exact time, will follow soon.
