About the event

Join us for the Arch_Manu 2026 Annual Research Symposium, a two-day showcase of emerging research exploring digital transformation, sustainable design and construction, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, circularity, data and knowledge management, and the changing relationship between people and technology in the architecture, engineering and construction sector.

The symposium brings together Arch_Manu researchers, industry partners, and collaborators to share the Centre’s latest work and discuss how research can help address some of the sector’s most pressing challenges.

Across two days of presentations and discussion, the event provides an opportunity to see research in progress, hear directly from the people undertaking it, and explore how new ideas, tools and approaches might be applied within professional practice.

  • Presentations about the latest ongoing research from Arch_Manu PhD, MPhil, and Postdoctoral researchers

About Arch_Manu

The ARC Centre for Next-Gen Architectural Manufacturing is an interdisciplinary, industry-focused research and training centre working to support the digital transformation and sustainability of Australia’s architecture, design, engineering and construction sector.

Arch_Manu brings together universities, industry organisations, professional bodies and researchers to develop innovative and practical responses to the challenges facing the built environment.

Getting There

UNSW is accessible via L2 and L3 light rail lines. Paid parking is available at the Barker Street Carpark. Visit the UNSW website for current rates.

Please note: The Anita B. Lawrence Centre has two separate entrances—make sure to enter via the West Wing. You’ll know you’re in the right place if you see the large neon B through the glass.
