Arbor Day Volunteer Street Tree Care w/ CM Epstein

Birthdays for trees? Yes! Join the LES Ecology Center and CM Harvey Epstein's office to celebrate the urban forest and connect with your community and the natural world.

Trees help clean our air, cool our streets, mitigate flooding, and so much more! In this Arbor Day event, we will pamper our trusty street trees on their special day with litter removal, weeding, soil aeration, and a special treat of NYC-made compost (think of it as a tree birthday cake!).

All materials provided.

Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and bring water.
