Now based in Texas, Maureen has turned her lifelong love of jewelry into the M Donohue Collection, casting her unique designs onto an array of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and accessories. During this welcome reception, you’ll have a chance to explore highlights of the M Donohue Collection while learning about her process and what inspires her. Along with drinks, light food, and conversation, the evening promises a chance to gain insight into an inspiring jewelry artist and her journey.

Ideally suited for those new to jewelry making, this workshop lets you walk away with a custom-crafted set of your own earrings and in-depth knowledge of how these works of fashionable art are made.

Maureen Donohue Grable is a Texas-based jeweler whose timeless, wearable designs draw inspiration from travel, antiques, and the beauty of the natural world. Born and raised in Georgia, Maureen discovered her love for jewelry as a child, exploring her mother’s collection and dreaming of creating her own. In 2004, she launched the M Donohue Collection, transforming a side hobby into a flourishing business. Each piece is thoughtfully designed in Texas to reflect elegance, uniqueness, and personal expression. During her workshops at Palmetto Bluff, Maureen will guide participants through hands-on jewelry-making experiences, sharing her passion for design, craftsmanship, and the joy of creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces.
