Have you ever wanted to tell a 5-7 minute true personal story like you hear on storytelling podcasts like "The Moth" or "Risk!" or "Snap Judgment?" This is your perfect opportunity!Here are the kinds of places this month’s theme, “Handle With Care” takes me:
Did someone memorably remind you to take care of yourself? Were you reminded by something in life how fragile life/trust/love can be? Did you have to “lose your virginity” repeatedly before you could really let yourself go and enjoy sex? Did your warehouse worker pals console you after dropping something fragile with “Fragile is Italian for catch it when I throw it to ya.”
Tell your story to the mic and you'll receive the applause of a grateful audience! Admission is free, but a courtesy purchase from Good Sandwich is appropriate.
