Step into the strange at the Appalachian Oddities Faire — a Saturday market packed with oddities, curiosities, dark art, folklore, cryptids, unusual antiques, gothic goods, taxidermy, handmade art, books, one-of-a-kind creations and wonderfully weird finds.
Our vendors are hand selected for the faire, with an emphasis on unusual, small-batch and one-of-a-kind work you won’t find at an ordinary market.
The Appalachian Oddities Faire Market opens Saturday, October 17 at 11:00 AM and runs until 5:00 PM. Vendors may begin breaking down as early as 4:00 PM, so arrive earlier in the day if you want the fullest shopping experience.
And the strange starts before Saturday.
Guests arriving Friday can join us on the hilltop for free Friday activities, including a Top of the Hill walking tour, campfire ghost stories at Harpers Ferry Market, and outdoor happenings weather permitting.
The weekend continues Saturday evening with dinner and The Appalachian Oddities Ball, followed by Strange Sunday and likely ghostly walking-tour adventures.
