A Court of Splintered Harmony: Midnight Release Party & Sleepover
About this Event
Grab tickets for your whole group of bookish besties, or make new ones...or better yet, do both.
Celebrate the HIGHLY anticipated release of A Court of Splintered Harmony by Sarah J. Maas. The doors of Cutler Hall open at 10pm because you've got two hours to burn (with the best of the bookish community) before Sarah J. Maas ruins your sleep schedule for the forseeable future.
What can you expect when you do it for the plot with For The Plot Books?
You know we love a good cosplay moment, so first thing's first...feel free to come dressed as your favorite character! Your evening will be full of bookish bingo, theory table spirals, trivia, a friendship bracelet making station, and more.
You'll pick up your bookish bingo cards at the door. Fill your square with your wildest predictions. What do you think will happen before you read page 1? Lock in your guesses before midnight! Trivia's not a one-and-done round...no...join us for the gauntlet aka three rounds of trivia spanning through the entire SJM universe. ACOTAR, Throne of Glass, Crescent City.
The theory table's gone analog! Bring your worst take, your best evidence, and your willingness to DIE ON THAT HILL because the theory table runs all night. Cut, paste, tape your prediction in before midnight. Take your journal home with you! Don’t forget to go back after you’ve read the book and add the parts where we were all catastrophically wrong. (ps...put your journal in a safe space so you can bring it back when we celebrate A Court of Forgotten Melody)
Enjoy themed mocktails & popcorn bar. Mocktail bar is open all night. The midnight release party is located within Cutler Hall. Please see the map below or click here to download a PDF to familiarize yourself with the KOA.
Not ready for the fun to end? Join us for the first of many Bookish Besties Sleepovers!
Sleepover tickets are extremely limited. Party access and sleepover tickets are separate, so check which one you’re buying before checkout. All sleepover tickets INCLUDE a copy of the book + midnight release party entry.
Book one of three ways:
The Historic Booth House is a recently renovated stone house next door to the KOA. Bookish Besties reserving a room in The Booth House have full access to the house and a fenced backyard (hello hot tub). The King Suite with Private Bath has the one private bathroom in the house. Four other rooms (3 King, 1 Queen) share a communal bathroom down the hall. All bedrooms and bathrooms are furnished with linens and towels.
The Bookish Besties Deluxe Cabin has two private spaces to choose from. Either book the private Queen bedroom or the bunkbed room. Shared kitchenette (full size fridge, microwave, two-burner stove, dishes and cookware), shared bathroom, TV in the living area, and a shared outdoor patio with a propane grill and firepit. All linens and towels provided.
If The Historic Booth House & The Bookish Besties Deluxe Cabin have sold out...you can book a standard campground cabins. The are available directly through the KOA (linked here). October is peak season there, so book early.
PLEASE NOTE: Every room is priced for one person, the Room Holder. To add a friend to share the room with you, simply book the accompanying Room Guest ticket assigned to your booking. These private links will be sent via email. This link is the only way to add a registration to your room. The linked Room Guest ticket adds a registration to your Room Holder booking at a lower price. Don’t buy two Room Holder tickets to share a room, one of you needs the Guest ticket for that room type.
