Vigorous 10 mile Hike from Harpers Ferry
Saturday, October 24 starting 8:30AM
Join members of the Ivy Social Club and friends as we hike out-and-back from the Harpers Ferry Visitors Center, and pause in the middle for a snack and a beautiful view of the Old Town. Parts of the route are steep, and a litle rocky, so your footwear should be ankle-friendly. Trail running shoes will work if you have experience with this kind of terrain, or boots if you want to play it safe. Bring adequate water.
Parking can be limited, but the Visitor Center at 171 Shoreline Dr, Harpers Fy, WV should have spaces: It’s $20 or a National Park Pass, covering admission to the Old Town for all passengers. We’ll meet at the shuttle bus stop in front of the Visitor Center.

Lunch in town, or a trip to a nearby brewery are possible after the hike.
