Urban Sketching is about capturing time and place while connecting with others through the seemingly solitary act of sketching. In this introductory workshop, we’ll explore the basics of sketching on location from observation in the beautiful, historic setting of Mineral Point. We’ll spread out across various spots in the Historic Downtown area, so comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. We’ll wrap up with time to add finishing touches to our sketches and enjoy a relaxed “sketch throwdown”—a casual sharing session to celebrate what we’ve created and mingle with fellow sketchers.Class size 12
