A fel nem ismert mentális zavarral küzdő Adela népi rituálékban keresi a válaszokat. Úgy érzi, valami figyeli és árt neki, amitől csak a vallásossága védi meg. Egy gyógyítónál tett látogatása során megvallja szenvedéseinek felkavaró eredetét.

A film egy anya és lánya közötti kisajátító kapcsolatról szól. A főszereplő az édesanyja iránti ki nem fejezett harag és lázadás hatására a címben szereplő aranyhallá változik. A ki nem mondott szavak, gesztusok és elfojtott gyermekkori érzelmek következményeként kíméletlenül bánik önmagával és másokkal is. Végül megengedi magának a gyász megélését, és ezzel elindul az önelfogadás és a megbocsátás útján.

A veréb nap mint nap mindenhol struccokat lát: plakátokon, reklámokban és az okostelefonján. Lenyűgözik a struccok – hosszú nyakuk, igéző tekintetük és izmos lábuk –, és a kismadár pont olyan akar lenni, mint ők. Edzőterembe megy, hogy a lábizmait fejlessze, sminkvideókat néz, és többször is felkeres egy nyaknyújtó stúdiót; már-már el is éri célját. Ám egy nap, amikor egy valódi strucc érkezik a városba, és a veréb személyesen is találkozik bálványával, egyvalami kristálytisztává válik: hiába minden igyekezet, egy veréb sosem lehet igazán strucc.

The Body of Christ | El Cuerpo del Cristo

With an unacknowledged mental disorder, Adela seeks answers in popular rituals. She feels that something is watching and harming her, and only religion seems to understand her. During a visit to a healer, she confesses the disturbing origin of her suffering.

The film consisting of countless original risograph prints, is an under-the-camera, straight-ahead animation improvised to the rhythm of the scores of the Hungarian percussion group, Amadinda. The risograph prints are based on various mark-making techniques. Stamping, brush and monotype strokes, line drawings, fingerprints, letterpress accents, trace of the masking tape are mixed together in this rapid visual journey. However, the film uses only two risographic colors, teal and gold. The animation is a consistent conceptual work that avoids post-digital manipulation, consisting solely of a series of risograph prints captured frame by frame under-the-camera.

"The Pool or Death of a Goldfish” is a story about a possessive relationship between a mother and her daughter. The main character, through unexpressed anger and rebellion against her mother, transforms into a titular goldfish. Unspoken words, gestures, and repressed childhood emotions manifest in harsh treatment of both herself and others. The film is framed by a compositional structure in which the main character finally allows herself to feel grief, thereby entering a process of self-acceptance and forgiveness.

Ostrich | Ostrich

Day in and day out, a sparrow sees images of ostriches everywhere: on posters, in ads, and on its smartphone. In awe of the ostriches, with their long necks, dazzling eyes and muscular legs, the little bird wants to be just like them. By hitting the gym to work on its leg muscles, following make-up tutorials, and paying several visits to the neck stretching studio, the sparrow comes very close to achieving its goal. But one day when a real ostrich comes to town and the sparrow meets its idol in person, one thing becomes crystal clear: try as it might, a sparrow can never truly be an ostrich.
