"Taking Flight" Airport Simulation

For some people, the hardest part of flying can begin long before the plane leaves the ground.
Unfamiliar steps, busy security lines and not knowing what to expect can make air travel feel overwhelming. Taking Flight offers a chance to practice the airport experience ahead of time, from checking a bag and going through security to talking with a gate agent and boarding a plane.
Presented by Riverside Rehabilitation and Therapy, this free event is designed for anyone who could benefit from a little more time, practice and confidence before a real trip. Family members and caregivers are welcome, too.
