Our Aging Services 501(c)(3) is gearing up for one of our biggest and most exciting nights of the year: Family Feud Showdown – A Friendship Studio Fundraiser on October 3rd.
This isn’t just a fundraiser… it’s a full‑blown community celebration with games, laughter, friendly competition, and a mission that truly matters.
This event helps us launch The Friendship Studio—a creative, wellness‑focused arts & life‑skills program opening January 2027 for adults 18+ with developmental disabilities. It’s not your typical community day program. It’s a place built around dignity, joy, creativity, independence, and belonging. A place our county has needed for far too long.
And YOU can help make it happen!!
Your attendance fuels the essentials that bring this program to life: • Classroom supplies • Art & music materials • Furnishings for our mock apartment • Transportation support (bus)
Every dollar moves us closer to opening the doors to a space where adults can learn, grow, and shine!

Knights of Columbus, 187 S. Indiana Ave, Kankakee
Doors open at 6pm • Event begins at 7pm
Games include: • Family Feud • Blackjack • Spin the Wheel
Plus, light appetizers, a cash bar
And did we mention? Our incredible co‑host, Megan Campbell!
Registration Options:
• $200 per table (up to 8 contestants) Or
• $35 per person (purchase at the door only; does not include Family Feud participation)
Want to attend? Then get your team together & come up with a fun team name and theme! You may just win a prize for the most creative and fun family!!
