FIDO Friendly Magazine's 16th Annual Cross-country Pet Adoption Tour, "Get Your Licks on Route 66®," aims tosave lives by placing pets into forever homes through adoption events along America's Favorite Highway, with
attendees donating money for a chance to win prizes and supporting shelters in the process.
Rescue participating in the event is Gateway Pet Guardians
The mission of Gateway Pet Guardians is to provide affordable, accessible, quality pet resources and champion a thriving pet welfare community to the over 55,000 people who live in the East Side Pet District – East St. Louis, Cahokia Heights, Washington Park and Fairmont City.

As always, entry is free for humans and Bar K Members. For Non-Members bringing a dog, entry is $15 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog in the household.
DOG ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• Must be current on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP and Bordetella)
• Must be properly socialized for group play
• Must be at least 12 weeks old
