A slow Sunday for St. Louis artists and creatives, presented by The & STL
You’re an actor & a server. A dancer & a day-jobber. A filmmaker & the person everyone calls when they need a favor. You’ve been holding a lot.
Come put it down for a couple of hours.
& Exhale is the very first gathering from The And STL, a third space for St. Louis artists. There’s nothing to prove, nobody to network with, and no audition to prep for. It’s an afternoon to slow down, calm your nervous system, and be in a room with people who get it.
What we’re doing:
🧘 Gentle restorative yoga (about 45 min) with Aarya Sara Locker. All levels and all bodies. If you’ve never done yoga, this is for you. If you’ve done it for ten years, it’s also for you.
🎶 Sound bath (20–25 min) with Nā’ilah Majeed. You lie down, and that’s the whole assignment.
🍰 Tea, treats & community time. Delicious treats from St. Louis-based local dessert company Pies & Surprise (by actress Paulette Pie!), warm tea, and time to actually talk to each other.

Tickets: $15 / $25 / $35, sliding scale
Pay what works for you, no questions asked and no proof needed. Every tier gets the exact same experience. If you can pay more, you’re helping keep the door open for someone who can’t.
Bring: a yoga mat [if you have one; we’ll have a few extras], water, and comfy clothes you can move and lie down in. And if you want to get really cozy, a little blanket or towel, and a small pillow.
You’re a founding member. The people in this room are the first people to ever do this with us, and you’ll go home with a little something to remember it.
A note on photos: we’ll take a few candid shots before and after, never during the practice. That time is yours.
Everyone is welcome here. You don’t have to be a “real” artist, whatever that means. If you make things, or want to, you belong.🧡
