Will you help us celebrate the official launch of the Anchorage Birding Trail?! Join us at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, by the Westchester Lagoon canoe/boat launch. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be followed by a bird walk along the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail led by Audubon Alaska staff.The Anchorage Birding Trail features 35 birding sites, stretching from Whittier to Westchester Lagoon and the Chugach Mountains. The virtual trail offers maps, site amenities, driving directions, and species checklists.
