About this Event

____

If you want to understand Iran’s women-led fight for liberation and equality, you can’t miss this opportunity. We are honored and grateful to be hosting authors and journalists Fatemeh Jamalpour and Nilo Tabrizy to talk about their experiences reporting on Iran’s Woman, Life, Freedom uprising, both inside and outside Iran.

The book entails narratives and accounts of resistance by eyewitnesses and activists as well as the author’s personal accounts of the women’s fight for freedom, and how their journalism helped shed light on these stories. It’s also a deeply human story of how bonds of solidarity and sisterhood reach through borders, walls, injustice, and even time to change a collective future.

____

Tea and sweets will be served. Limited copies of the book will also be available for purchase, and seating is first come first serve. The authors' talk will be followed by a short Q&A with guests.
