Take a GWMP NPS Ranger led bike ride along the Mount Vernon Trail in honor of America 250.
About this Event

Join us for a casual paced 11-mile bike ride to visit historical points along the Mount Vernon Trail that relate to the history of the George Washington Memorial Parkway. The route will be on the Mount Vernon Trail with multiple ride leaders. We will stop at 5 sites with time to get off the bike and take pictures. Stops include the Navy and Marine Memorial, Gravelly Point and Daingerfield Island.

The ride will begin and end at the Columbia Island Marnia parking lot.

There is no rain date for this event.

Meet

8:30 a.m. at the northern end of the Columbia Island Parking lot near the Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove On The Potomac. We will roll out at 9:00 a.m.
