Allan's mix of of blues, singer/songwriter and various american acoustic music is easy (and accurately) gathered up in the label "holler blues." His music, rooted in years of experience, is gritty and authentic. I think the same can be said of the person. Born and raised in the beautiful but sometimes brutal hollers of West Virginia, his inquisitive mind led him far and wide. I don't know if he'll talk about it. But it's felt in the performance. Anyway I hope you come.
