This isn’t your typical X’s and O’s clinic.

The Alex Molden Youth Sports Leadership Clinic is a transformational experience designed for coaches, parents, and athletes who want more than just scoreboard success—they want connection, clarity, and long-term growth.

At the heart of this clinic is leadership and influence—how we use our words, our presence, and our example to shape the experience of youth sports for the better.

We’ll explore how:

• Coaches can lead with intentionality and emotional intelligence, building a culture that develops not just athletes, but confident young leaders.
• Players can take ownership of their mindset, behavior, and effort, both in competition and in community.
• Parents can support from the sidelines and in the car ride home, with tools to handle post-game conversations that build trust, not tension.

One of the most critical and often misunderstood moments in youth sports is right after the game. Emotions are high, expectations are raw, and words can either heal or hurt. In this clinic, we’ll give parents actionable tools to:

• Process the highs and lows of competition in a healthy way
• Ask better questions that open up conversation instead of shutting it down
• Support their athlete’s emotional development while staying connected

Through practical strategies, engaging discussions, and real-life examples, everyone involved will gain:

• Conflict resolution tools between players, parents, and coaches
• A shared language and framework for navigating the ups and downs of sports
• Greater awareness of the influence each role carries—and how to use it for good

This clinic is for anyone who believes that sports should build people up, not break them down. Because leadership in youth sports doesn’t belong to one person—it belongs to all of us.
