To celebrate the completion of recording for my seventh album, Salt, I am having a picnic at Edinburgh Gardens!
I invite you all to join me to mark this important point in a 2+ year long creative process, from writing to performing to recording this new body of work, which I am very proud of. Making this new music has involved collaborations with and contributions from many incredible artists along the way, through which I have been able to explore completely new sounds.
I am very excited to share Salt with the world in 2026, and Naarm being where my journey with recording my own music began in 2009, it feels fitting to spend this moment with my beloved Naarm/Melbourne community, where we can gather together before I begin this new chapter!
To help raise the fund to pay for the recording and release of this album + a music video, I have been running a crowdfunding campaign through the Australian Cultural Fund. You might (understandably!) ask why I am doing this if the album is nearly finished! The reason is making and releasing an album costs a lot of money, and it’s very difficult (particularly in the age of streaming) for artists to recoup the costs without help from their fans. So I am asking friends and fans to chip in if they can.

There will be a craft activity for everyone to do, all materials provided.
