ALA Mix 'n Mingle with LFP, Library Futures, and ULU

Join Library Freedom Project, Library Futures, and Urban Librarians Unite on June 28 from 5:30-7:30pm, for a cute little networking and social event.

Library Freedom Project is radically rethinking the library professional organization by creating a network of values-driven librarian-activists working together to build information democracy. We host events, create resources, and build community with other library workers who are motivated by social justice.

Library Futures conducts research and advocacy for the future of libraries. We mobilize a community of experts to encourage the adoption of technologies that uplift libraries in the digital age, promoting new possibilities for preservation of and unfettered access to information.

Urban Librarians Unite (ULU) is a passionate group of urban library professionals and advocates working to build community centered 21st Century Libraries.

5:30: Meet at Libelula Bookstore to get your tickets. Feel free to browse this sweet local spot!
6:00-7:30: Wander over to Mujeres Brewery for drinks.

(We will have tickets available at both places if you only want to join us for part of the evening!)

We will be monitoring COVID rates in advance of this gathering and will consider implementing covid precautions as needed. We will have masks available for anyone who wants one.
