Februárban ezúttal egy magyar filmet vetít a Híradó Filmklub! Idén az auschwitzi tábor felszabadításábak 80. évében vagyunk, Tóth Barnabás “Akik maradtak” c. filmje pedig nagyon érzékenyen mutatja be, hogy hogyan birkózik meg egy kamaszlány és egy egykori családapa a holokauszt feldolgozhatatlannak tartott traumájával. Vajon túl lehet-e élni a múlt és a jövő tragédiáit, ha összekapaszkodnak azok, akik még megmaradtak?
Vetítés után Madarász Isti és Sárkány Andi beszélgetnek a filmről, túlélésről és reményről, meg az általatok felvetett kérdésekről.
🍿 A belépés ingyenes, popcorn is jár hozzá, úgyhogy egy kellemes hétfő esti kikapcsolódásnak ígérkezik, ahová nyugodtan hívhattok barátokat is.

A negyvenes éveiben járó nőgyógyász, Aldó (Hajduk Károly) és a cserfes kamaszlány, Klára (Szőke Abigél) magára marad a második világháború után, miután elveszítik a családjukat a holokausztban. Mély barátság, különleges pótapa–lánya kapcsolat szövődik közöttük, de a környezetük a korkülönbség miatt ezt nem nézi jó szemmel. A háttérben közben kibontakozik az ötvenes évek vörösterrorja.

In February, we continue the Híradó Movie Club season with a Hungarian film. Barnabás Tóth's "Those Who Stayed" is a sensitive portrait of how people cope with the trauma of the Holocaust considered impossible to process, telling the moving story of a teenage girl and a middle-aged man coming together after the Second World War. Will it be possible to survive the tragedies of the past and the future if those who remain cling together?
After the screening, Isti Madarász and Andi Sárkány discuss the film, survival and hope, and the questions you raise.
🍿 Admission is free and popcorn is provided, so it promises to be a nice Monday night out where you can invite your friends as well.

Aldó (Károly Hajduk), a gynaecologist in his 40s, and Klára (Abigél Szőke), a chatty teenage girl, are left on their own after losing their family in the Holocaust during World War II. They develop a deep friendship and a special father-daughter relationship, but those around them do not look kindly on it because of the age difference. Meanwhile, in the background, the Red Terror of the 1950s unfolds.
