About this Event
NatWest Accelerator is hosting a practical AI Prompt‑a‑thon designed specifically for ambitious, growing businesses.
This is not a theory session or a product demonstration.
It’s a hands‑on working day, where you’ll use AI chat tools to tackle real tasks from your own business, delivered by Andrea Jones from VisVira Ltd.
While the session uses Microsoft Copilot as the working platform, the skills you develop are relevant across all modern AI chat tools. The focus is on how to think, ask better questions, and apply AI safely and effectively at work.
What is a Prompt‑a‑thon?
A Prompt‑a‑thon is a structured, interactive workshop where participants learn how to work effectively with AI chat tools.
You will:
- Learn how to ask clearer, more effective questions of AI
- Understand how to guide AI to produce useful, reliable outputs
- Apply these techniques to real business tasks
- Test ideas in a safe, supported environment
The approaches you learn can be used with a wide range of AI chat tools, not just one platform

What you’ll work on
You’ll use AI chat tools to support tasks such as:
- Writing and improving business documents and proposals
- Researching markets, competitors, or customers
- Summarising information and creating action plans
- Improving internal processes and ways of working
- Generating ideas and options to unblock stalled work
All activities are practical and focused on saving time and improving productivity, regardless of which AI tool you choose to use after the session.
What you’ll gain
By the end of the session, you will:
- Understand how AI chat tools can realistically support your business
- Learn transferable skills you can apply across different AI platforms
- Produce real outputs during the day
- Build confidence using AI as part of your everyday work
- Identify at least one AI‑supported workflow you can adopt immediately
