Missouri’s Master Plan on Aging lays out a vision for helping older adults age with dignity, safety, independence, and connection. But do you know how seniors make sure their voices are heard as those priorities become policy?

Join us for a free educational seminar featuring Thomas Eyssell, PhD, Senator & Chair, Silver Haired Legislature, and Kerri Gallagher, Community Engagement Manager of Aging Ahead. The seminar will introduce the Silver-Haired Legislature, a non-partisan volunteer advocacy group of Missourians age 60 and older working to promote legislation important to seniors. Attendees will learn how the group works, what issues it focuses on, and how older adults can stay informed and make their voices heard.

Participants will also learn more about Aging Ahead, the local Area Agency on Aging, and the many resources it offers, including caregiver support, CHOICE programs, senior centers, transportation and housing resources, Medicare and Medicaid guidance, Meal on Wheels, volunteer opportunities, and help connecting with local services.

See you at the Spencer Road Library Rm L in St Peters! Seating is limited - reserve your spot today! Please register online or by phone: https://seniorsempowermenttruthseries.com/ola/services/july-22-2026-sets-seminar or 636-336-6819.
