Adult Continuing Education Class | Oyster Conservation ProgramConnect with our different attractions in exciting new ways through our all-new Adult Continuing Education Classes, taking place each month here at Moody Gardens. These 2-hour classes are for adults ages 18 and older to gain a hands-on learning experience on a variety of topics including nature and conservation.
See first-hand how Moody Gardens takes part in the Oyster Recycling Program. Partnering with the Galveston Bay Foundation and Moody Gardens General Curator Greg Whitaker, learn about the entire process from the restaurant kitchen to back into the bay. Learn the importance of oysters in our ecosystem and what conservation and restoration efforts are being made.
Pre-registration required. Registration closes day before at 4pm. Adults Only; 18 years and older. (No children)
