Adult Clay Workshop: Handbuilt Mug
Advertisement
Create your own handmade ceramic mug in this fun, beginner-friendly clay workshop! No experience is needed. Our instructor will guide you step by step as you learn to build a mug from slabs of clay, shape the handle, and add your own decorative details.
Make your mug uniquely yours using our collection of texture tools, including stamps, textured rolling pins, and other fun designs. You can keep it simple or get creative with patterns and textures to make a mug that fits your personal style.
After class, your mug will stay at the studio to dry before being kiln-fired. Our staff will dip-glaze your mug in the glaze color of your choice and fire it a second time to create a beautiful, durable, food-safe finish. Your finished mug will be ready to use for your favorite coffee, tea, or hot cocoa!
Your workshop fee is
$35 per person and includes all clay, instruction, your choice of glaze color, and kiln firings. Finished mugs are typically ready for pickup in about 3 weeks.
Pre-registration is required, as seating is limited.
