This month, we’ll be experimenting with air-dry foam clay—a beginner-friendly medium that’s way less frustrating than traditional clay. It’s incredibly lightweight, making it perfect for creating beads, pendants, and small sculptural pieces. Foam clay is also super soft, so cracking as it dries isn’t something you’ll need to stress about. One of the best parts? It sticks to itself easily, with no scoring or water required.
This is a workshop-style class, so I’ll start by sharing ideas, techniques, and how to use the sculpting tools provided—but after that, the creative direction is entirely yours. The clay takes 24-72 hours to dry before you should apply paint, so we are only sculpting.
Since this is Adult Art Club, you’re welcome to bring alcohol (please avoid glass) and THC drinks, edibles, or vapes (no flower).
