There’s no need to hide in the rain! Join the Adopt a Catch Basin and Green Rainwater Infrastructure team for a Rain Walk to learn about the City of Vancouver’s Rainspection program and get a special view inside the sewer pipe network. We will clear the catch basins along the way!

See inside the Sewer: Look inside a catch basin and its sewer pipes through a special camera for a behind-the-scenes view into the network that helps keep our streets and waterways functioning.

Learn about Rain Gardens: On a walk down Blenheim Street, we will learn about the Rainspection program where we measure and report on the benefits of rain gardens across Vancouver. Community science brings together community members and scientists to explore local environmental questions and solve problems.

Adopt a Catch Basin is a program run by the City of Vancouver, providing support and equipment to help residents keep their catch basins clear to prevent street flooding.
