Join us for the vibrational medicine ceremony called Acu-Gong, co-created by Traditional Acupuncturist Carolyn Eddleston and sound practitioner Katrina Berry, now in it’s fourth year of evolution.As the name suggests, we combine Acupuncture guided by the vibrations of a sound bath in a nourishing ritual of an evening. Both work on the physical and more subtle flow and balance of energy or Qi for enhanced wellbeing and vitality. The whisker-like needles connect with specific Acupoints on the body that can serve as gates, allowing the sound to be fully received. This combination of Acupuncture and sound can guide the body to re-harmonise at many energetic levels.
The sound from quartz crystal and Himalayan singing bowls and planetary tuned gongs creates altered states of consciousness and deep relaxation, which allow Acupuncture treatment to be more easily received.
We begin the evening opening the circle with guided meditation and breath work and facilitated intention setting, moving into the treatment for approx an hour, where you’ll receive needles by Carolyn, in specific energy points relevant to your intention and current health according to your pulses, while Kat builds up steady waves of sound.
After the session we allow for grounding and sharing (optional) before closing our circle and ceremony.
