Acroyoga Rockaway Beach Hangout/Photoshoot

Already getting on the ferry to Rockaway feels like being on a beach resort. Join us for acroyoga, photoshoot, and hanging out!

We've had a group discussion, and participants wanted to cancel due to the cloudy weather in the morning.

Important! Only Return Students

We are only accepting return students to come to the photoshoot. We want to know you. And you should also know acroyoga.

To get a ticket, you'll need an access code. The access code is in the group description of our Whatsapp group.

If you have come to at least one of our classes, we are excited to have you join us.

Overview

We'll meet downtown at pier 11 to take the Rockaway ferry to Rockaway Beach. Based on the current schedule, the ferry should leave at 2:05 PM. The vibe on the ferry with beach balls and everyone ready for the beach will make you feel like you are already on a beach resort. Rockaway is a very beautiful beach that gives the full beach vacation vibe. The ferry ride will be about an hour. Once we arrive, we'll do acroyoga and photoshoots. And whenever you feel lazy, you can simply rollover and chill.

Note: It might be easier to join us at another ferry stop or at Rockaway. Research the ferry schedule and check in where you are going to join us.

Rough Schedule

• 2 PM: Ferry to Rockaway Beach
• Short walk from the ferry to the beach.
• 3 PM: Acroyoga, Photos, hanging out, and jumping in the water
• 6 PM: Possibly, might get a snack to eat if people are interested.
• 6 or 7 PM: Return trip with the ferry
• Exact return time will depend on the mood of the group.

Note: The ferry runs roughly every hour and lets you leave early/join later.

What To Bring

• A yoga mat, towel, or blanket to do acro on.
• Lots of water for the summer day.
• Sun protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
• Lunch and snacks.
• Swimwear if you want to go in the ocean for acro or swimming.

Ocean Warning

The beach can have rip currents. Rip currents can be stronger than the strongest swimmer.

Respect Other Beachgoers

A lot of areas in Rockaway Beach are pretty crowded. We don't want to create space by scaring people around us away and making them uncomfortable. We'll probably walk a little bit to find an emptier space. And give people a little distance. People lazing in the sun don't want to have to worry if at any moment a gorgeous god/goddess is going to drop out of the sky on top of them ;)
