Acland Prize Centenary Reunion
About this Event
The Acland Prize, named after Sir Arthur Acland (1847–1926), was founded in the academic year 1925–26 and celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
This centenary is marked with a series of events across 2026. We hosted a symposium on adult and community education in March, and a history of interdisciplinary education symposium in June, in collaboration with the History of Education Society.
The culmination of Acland 100 will be a reunion bringing together Acland Prize winners and Languages for Science alumni — recent and long-standing alike — on Imperial's Commemoration Day: Wednesday 21 October 2026. The event will take place at the CLCC, South Kensington campus, and we would love for you to join us. Please book your place below.
