Hans Keller Forum: Trio Musae Masterclass

Join us for the first in three free drop in masterclasses that allow audiences to witness the creative process behind chamber music performance. This first session sees Trio Musae working with Tim Horton.

This event forms part of a new three-year partnership between Burgh House and Chamber Studio funded by The Cosman Keller Art & Music Trust. Launching in October 2026, the residency programme brings together exceptional emerging chamber musicians, internationally renowned mentors and the work of artist Milein Cosman, celebrating the enduring connection between music, visual art and Hampstead's rich cultural heritage. Selected string quartets and trios will take part in a series of residencies at Burgh House, where they will reunite with leading chamber musicians for masterclasses before sharing the results of their work with audiences in intimate evening performances.

Trio Musae was formed in 2024 by young, passionate musicians studying at the Royal College of Music in London. Now in their second undergraduate year, they have performed across London and participated in masterclasses with artists including Darragh Morgan and Simon Callaghan. Highlights include their debut at St James’s Piccadilly, organising a Women’s Day concert, and appearances at St George’s Hanover Square, St John’s Fulham, and the inaugural Royal College of Music Strings Festival. Upcoming performances include recitals at Westminster Library and St James’s Sussex Gardens. The trio is supported by Talent Unlimited and were been named Chamber Studio Hans Keller Artists for 2025/26.
