Step into Heart Week!
Join AMRC and Heart Foundation Walking for a free lunchtime multicultural city walk + heart-healthy chat and tea.
Hosted in collaboration with the Australian Migrant Resource Centre, this Heart Week event invites AMRC staff, clients and the wider local community to come together for a short, welcoming lunchtime city walk. The walk runs from 12:30–1:00pm and will be followed by a brief heart‑health talk with the Heart Foundation over a shared afternoon tea.
Heart Week is Australia’s national heart health awareness week held in May each year. It provides an opportunity for the Australian public and health professionals to start a conversation about heart health and take positive steps to reduce their heart disease risk.
If you’re looking to join a local free walking group and take care of your heart with each step. Come give it a go this Heart Week!
