This Historic Preservation month join NAHS Education Coordinator, David Blauvelt as he explains the differences and interactions between North Andover's Historical Commission, Local District Commissions, the Historical Society, and other town bodies. How does a citizen of a town get involved in historic preservation and what other commissions are involved? How does my private home get considered for historic recognition? By using his experience in North Andover as well as experience as the Vice-Chair of Northbridge's Historical Commission and commissioner of a historic district commission, he will answer these questions and more!
