Learn to cultivate a thriving, chemical free sanctuary in this Spring BloomFest offering! Participants will dive into the fundamentals of companion planting and soil health to naturally boost plant resilience. Participants will discover how to attract beneficial insects and use organic barriers to manage pests without harsh toxins. By the end of this session, participants will have a practical toolkit for maintaining a vibrant, eco-friendly landscape that is safe for both your family and local pollinators.This class is part of our new Growing Together series. Growing Together is a new hands-on gardening series at Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens, created in collaboration with Arianna Iappini of Birch Arbor Gardens. Designed for gardeners of all experience levels, this series invites participants to learn, connect, and cultivate alongside one another through the seasons. Each session blends practical instruction with thoughtful conversation, exploring sustainable gardening practices, seasonal rhythms, and the deeper relationships between plants, place, and people. Rooted in community and shared knowledge, Growing Together offers a welcoming space to grow skills, confidence, and connection in the historic gardens.
