A Delightful Day Awaits at Everglades Garden
The Blackheath Garden Club is delighted to invite members and friends to a wonderful winter outing on Thursday, 16th July 2026, featuring beautiful gardens, good company, and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the Blue Mountains.
Our day begins at 11:00 am, where we will gather at the front entrance of Everglades Garden, Leura. Renowned for its stunning heritage landscapes and breathtaking mountain views, Everglades Garden is one of the Blue Mountains' most treasured attractions. Members holding concession cards can enjoy admission for $15.00.
After exploring the magnificent gardens and taking in the seasonal beauty, we will gather for morning tea at the café, providing the perfect opportunity to catch up with fellow members and share gardening ideas and stories.
At 1:00 pm, we will head to the newly renovated Katoomba RSL for lunch. Members are welcome to choose from the extensive menu and enjoy lunch at their own expense. The modern facilities and welcoming atmosphere make it an ideal venue for a leisurely meal and good conversation.
To complete our day, we will return to Blackheath for a visit to the ever-popular Webers Nursery. Known for its extensive range of plants, shrubs, and gardening treasures, Webers is always a favourite stop and offers plenty of inspiration for our own gardens.
Whether you are passionate about gardening, enjoy meeting new friends, or simply appreciate the beauty of the Blue Mountains, this promises to be a memorable day filled with laughter, friendship, and inspiration.
