A day of permaculture
Schedule
Sat Nov 16 2024 at 09:00 am to 10:03 pm
UTC+08:00Location
Fair Harvest Permaculture | Margaret River, WA
This is an interactive, hands-on learning day at the unique setting of Fair Harvest Permaculture in Margaret River.
We will look through the permaculture lens at how we can live good lives, grow and eat healthy food, connect with community and care for the land where we live.
The day introduces you to the design system thinking of permaculture which can give us positive ways to meet some of the challenges we see in the world today.
This workshop is a great introduction to our intensive two-week Permaculture Design Course which we run at Fair Harvest in September and January.
Coffee, tea and a light morning tea will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
The teacher
Rod is passionate about permaculture learning and how this system of thinking can create new and critical connections between people, the environment and the food we eat. Rod has completed a Permaculture Design Certificate, Advanced Permaculture Design Certificate and Diploma of Permaculture and uses these skills in his business Leafcutter Permaculture. He loves compost and scythes and is pretty convinced that being kind to each other, looking after Mother Earth and ensuring fair share is critical to our survival.
