Festival of Our Age: Celebrating Positive Healthy Ageing Expo

Welcome to the Festival of Our Age Expo!

Featuring guest presenters, information stalls, play the spoons performance & have a go session, lunch, swing dancing and tai chi. A day to connect with others, access information and try new activities, all in the name of celebrating positive healthy ageing!

Choose your own adventure for the day from the schedule above. You can book in for a range of sessions between 10am - 2pm, or just drop in between 11:30am - 1:30pm to meet stallholders and gather information, or just book in for one of the afternoon movement workshops. The choice is yours!

Nala Bardip Mia - Margaret River HEART is the main venue for the Expo, with some activities (including the Information Stalls) occurring at the Margaret River Recreation Centre (accessible on the day through the HEART building) and main Shire building.

Please note we will be taking photos throughout the day.

Schedule:

10am - 11:30am: Welcome + opening address, Guest presentations and Q&A from Advocare & WA Country Health Service (Ticket required - capacity limits)
11:30 - 12pm: Deb 'Spoons' Perry - Spoons performance and have a go session (no RSVP required)

11:30am - 1:30pm: Information stalls are open! Come and meet 20+ service providers and community organisations. A light lunch will be available between 12 - 1pm with gentle music in the HEART courtyard. (no RSVP required, just come on in)

1 - 2pm: Curious about Tai Chi? Come and enjoy a demo & taster session (Ticket required - capacity limits) Please read the information in the agenda section about this session before booking your ticket.

1 - 2pm: Want to Shim Sham? Come along to this Swing Dancing lesson (Ticket required - capacity limits) Please read the information in the agenda section about this session before booking your ticket.
