Meet Jacob Scott 🎤
Jacob Scott (Ngāti Kahungunu, Te Arawa, Ngāti Raukawa) is a pioneering contemporary Māori artist based in Hawke's Bay. Principal of Te Ara Hihiko, he has spent decades blending traditional whakairo with modern technologies including CNC carving and digital design. His work can be found in public spaces, hospitals, schools and galleries throughout New Zealand, and he is a founding member of Kahui Whetū and a lifetime member of Toi Iho.
