DESIGNATION OF LOVE & TENDERNESS:

As artists in practice, we do not create, nor do we arrive to our work in a vacuum. Within A Celebration of Queer Poetics, we recognize the communal continuously informs the poem & the form of the poem. We celebrate the queer poet profoundly invested in the words they share with the world, exploring what it means to be human—who know the vulnerability of holding authentic tender space for our voices, and the essence of love. Love, loss, & memory are intertwined at a very fundamental level of the human experience this space is an attempt to acknowledge the transformation that occurs within the queer soul & language when we hold loving space for memory & the present at once.
