A Brief Introduction to Quantum Computing
Quantum Computing has gained the public's attention in recent years. We regularly hear about new developments in quantum computing. These annoucements make it seem that the world is on the verge of drastic change and everyone's secrets will be exposed. Are quantum computers about to make security a thing of the past or will they offer new ways to protect our secrets? What makes a quantum computer a threat to encryption? Are our organizations at risk from quantum computing powered attacks? We'll address these concerns and more as we discuss the current state of quantum computers, their uses and the reality of the threat they do or don't present to our society.
