Startup founders pitch their businesses like on Shark Tank. Then you can talk with the founders after the pitches in breakout groups.
About this Event

Welcome to Startup Oasis!

If you are a startup founder, investor, developer, marketer, or anyone else in the tech ecosystem looking to start, join, or help a tech startup, this event is for you! Startup founders pitch their startup to the audience, then they will join their own breakout room to get feedback from the attendees. People have been able to start a business as a result of this process. If you would like to pitch, please RSVP here, and sign up at check-in on the day of the event.

We meet on the 3rd Thursday evening of each month in person at our home location at ATDC (Tech Square, 2nd-floor lobby)! If you have any questions, please reach out! ATDC is a technology incubator with world-class facilities - you will be impressed!

Free food and drinks are provided beforehand at a partner event with ATDC. ATDC Entrepreneurs Night starts at 5 PM, and our event starts promptly at 7 PM. Everyone here is welcome to attend both events for free.

Schedule:

5:00 PM EST - Doors Open/Networking on the 2nd floor

5:15 PM - Complementary food and beverages are served

6:45 - Up to 10 founders are chosen to pitch - sign up with the hosts when you arrive

7:00 - Startup Oasis Begins, Founders Pitch.

7:30 onward - Founders break off into break-out rooms, and attendees can move around and help one for the remainder of the time, similar to a hackathon.

Startup Oasis was created to pierce the illusion of accessibility of startups and tech by creating a grassroots forum for early-stage founders to pitch to those in the tech ecosystem to get real-time feedback for their idea or business.

Entrepreneurs Night

Info: Entrepreneurs Night begins at 5 and ends at 7. The format will be 30 minutes of networking with beverages and food followed by an informal presentation by an ATDC entrepreneur of some distinction.

Startup Oasis Pitches

Info: The Startup Oasis pitches from founders begin at 7 PM in the main room. We have quick announcements followed by business pitches from 6 - 8 startup founders.

Startup Oasis Breakout Groups

Info: After the pitches, each founder that pitched gets a breakout group where you can talk with them in further detail about their business. If you would like to just watch, feel free to do so.
