A Brain-Based Approach for Early Childhood Classrooms
About this Event
Join Us for A Brain-Based Approach for Early Childhood Classrooms
This introductory session provides early childhood educators with a practical framework for self-regulation and social-emotional learning based on adult composure and trauma-informed practices.
Participants will explore how the three brain states-survival, emotional, and executive-driven child behavior, and learn how shifting adult responses can de-escalate tension and foster a safe learning community.
Through actionable strategies for emotional regulation, daily rituals, and positive discipline, you will gain concrete tools to replace traditional punishment with meaningful connection, helping young children build lifelong skills in self-control, empathy, and problem -solving.
Grounded in the Conscious Discipline model, this training equips participants with core framework concepts alongside a curated kit for foundational materials to support immediate, effective classroom implementation.
